Privacy Policy

1.1 Account Information

When you create an account, we collect your full name, email address, and an encrypted password. This information is stored securely in our database hosted on Supabase infrastructure.

1.2 Project Data

When you use Pernity to analyze a business idea, we collect: your project name, business idea description, target platforms (iOS, Android, Web, etc.), industry category, development stage, and business model. This information is necessary to perform market analysis.

1.3 Analysis Results

We store the results of your market analyses, including AI-generated insights, competitor data, market gaps, feature recommendations, and sentiment analysis results. These results are associated with your account for your future reference.

1.4 Usage Data

We track your usage metrics including number of analyses performed per month and export usage. This data helps us enforce plan limits.

1.5 Payment Information

Payment processing is handled entirely by LemonSqueezy, our third-party payment processor. We do NOT store your credit card numbers, CVV, or banking details. We only receive transaction confirmations and subscription status from LemonSqueezy.

2.1 Service Delivery

We use your project data to: (a) extract relevant keywords and market signals using AI, (b) discover competitor applications from public app store listings, (c) collect and analyze publicly available user reviews, (d) generate market insights and recommendations.

2.2 AI Processing

Your business idea descriptions are processed by AI language models (Google Gemini and OpenAI) to extract keywords, analyze sentiment, and generate market insights. Only the text content of your ideas is sent to these AI providers - no personal identifying information is included in AI requests.

2.3 Account Management

We use your email to send account verification emails, password reset links, and subscription confirmations.

3.1 AI Processing Providers

We use Google Gemini and OpenAI to process your analysis requests. Your idea descriptions are transmitted securely via API. These providers process data according to their respective privacy policies.

3.2 Public App Store Data

Our service analyzes publicly available information from Apple App Store and Google Play Store, including: app names, descriptions, ratings, review counts, and user reviews. This is publicly accessible information that we aggregate and analyze to provide market insights.

3.3 Web Search (Serper API)

We use Google Search (via Serper API) to discover competitors and market information. Search queries are based on keywords extracted from your ideas. No personal data is included in search queries.

3.4 Authentication & Database (Supabase)

User authentication and data storage are handled by Supabase. Your data is stored in PostgreSQL databases with row-level security policies ensuring you can only access your own data.

3.5 Payment Processing (LemonSqueezy)

All payment transactions are processed by LemonSqueezy. We receive only subscription status updates, not payment card details.

4.1 Encryption

All data transmitted between your browser and our servers is encrypted using HTTPS. Passwords are hashed before storage. Data at rest is encrypted in our database.

4.2 Access Controls

Row-Level Security (RLS) policies ensure that database queries only return data belonging to the authenticated user.

4.3 API Security

All API communications with third-party services use authenticated, encrypted connections. API keys are stored as environment variables, never in code or client-side.

5.1 Access Your Data

You can access all your projects, analyses, and account information through your dashboard at any time.

5.2 Update Your Data

You can update your profile name through account settings.

5.3 Delete Your Data

You can delete individual projects from your dashboard. To delete your entire account and all associated data, use the 'Delete Account' option in settings. When you delete your account, all your data (profile, projects, analyses, usage records) is permanently and immediately deleted from our database.

6.1 Account Data

Your account information is retained as long as your account is active. When you delete your account, all data is immediately and permanently removed from our systems.

6.2 Project & Analysis Data

Your projects and analysis results are retained while your account is active. You can delete individual projects at any time. All project data is immediately deleted when you delete your account.

6.3 Usage Data

Usage tracking data (analyses count, export count per month) is deleted when you delete your account.

We use essential cookies for authentication and session management. These cookies are necessary for the service to function and cannot be disabled.
